The President's List is the highest recognition of undergraduate scholarship, awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievement across academic and co-curricular domains. Selection is based on a comprehensive evaluation, including academic performance in all courses, results in physical education assessments, representation of the faculty and university in provincial or national competitions, contributions to academic research and contests, accomplishments in the arts and sports, voluntary service, and demonstrated leadership within the community.

Undergraduate Research Fellowship

Awarding Body: China Scholarship Council and University of Alberta
Year Awarded: 2024

The China Scholarship Council provides funding to undergraduate students from Double First-Class Initiative universities in China to conduct research at UAlberta under the supervision of faculty members who are experts in their field. Students gain hands-on, practical experience in their academic discipline and receive a stipend. Each Double First-Class Initiative university may recommend one student for this prestigious fellowship, with a maximum of 30 students selected nationwide.
